How did it start?... It was nice exhibition, first worldwide one after the Velvet revolution (in 1989). It was breathtaking for me and also for my friends breeders. We weren´t used to see so many caravans and so many exhibited dogs. Yes, in 1990 there were many important foreign breeders of all the dog breeds in Brno.I am a dogman from my twelf years of age, an instructor for a training of working breeds from my fourteen years of age in Odolena Voda and at the same time also a breeder of big schnauzers. And I wished to have some dog friend after the longer break in breeding.I wanted to choose some breed at this exhibition. Some breed which wouldn´t need much training and would rather naturally live in our family. The reason was I didn´t have much time for the training the dog at this hectic time, maybe when I would retire.I supposed I choose some interesting molosse. So I went in this direction and I watched these breeds with a specific excitement. During a little time I knew where every breed takes place. They were mostly really wonderful representatives of breeds bordodog, bulmastiff, Engl. Mastiff, Brazilian fila. But I was also surprised that I could see a dog which I could know only from literature. After a short observation I made me sure (by asking a question to the breeder) that I can see really the tibetan mastiff! So this is "he", tibetan mastiff, the first impression from this concrete dog was really very special and unique. He effused some kind of very unique atmosphere of Asia but though the power of his personality. He was huge dog (not like the alluded mollosse breeds), strong legs, muscular body, big heavy head with mouth and lips, wonderful coloured coat - black with red tan and those typical dots above the eyes. Yes, Ckubilaj Khan des Mille Vallées of Mrs. Pilat from France was really amazing. He charmed me. And although another dog won this exhibition, I knew I want to breed exacly this dog, strictly speaking this type of dog. In 1992 Ckubilaj won the worldwide winner title. I ordered a puppy from Mrs. Pilat - a girl - much relative with Ckubilaj and with request of the same colour. I also met Mr. Tóth Attila at this exhibition, he is a TM breeder in Hungary and I agreed with him on the puppy (a boy) purchase from him. In half of February, in 1991 I got the puppy from him - his name was Vászoli Nemesdombi Baldan. And after him I got my first little girl Farensi Mo des Mille Vallées from Mrs. Pilat.
